Not only the Mustang I concept car was used in a european promotion tour
and driven by numerous magazine editors in 1962.

Since February 1964 "final" Mustangs were exported from the US.
Some of you may be irritated by the month, but indeed 5S07_100003,
a pilot plant Mustang built at Allen Park
was sent over to Alan Mann Racing Ltd. via Lincoln Cars in the UK
for suspension tests at the Goodwood race track
and the results were subsequently relayed back to Ford Motor Company Ltd.

3 other Mustangs followed the 8th. of April to Ford Dagenham/UK-
2 convertibles and a 170cui hardtop. The hardtop is still around.
Others went to France, Belgium and Sweden plus into Canada.

Since then hundred thousands of our beloved Pony Cars
had been sold to citizens and army staff around the globe.

As most countries have certainly been covered with the local clubs
and published information on their websites,
this site is designed to show you the rare pieces in those areas
that typically are not covered in any Mustang magazine.
