William S. from Texas presented his 1968 Bullitt Mustang replica in May 2025 to us and joins the maniac group here on Ponysite.de

"I have owned my 68 Mustang for 37 years now (2025). It has been in a paint and body restoration process the last 3 years.

Complete disassembly, repaint and everything new going back on. Before that, I spent 2 1/2 years making it a resto mod. 

I always wanted to make it the movie Bullitt car. We painted it 2019 Ford dark highland green, we removed all the emblems, fake rear side vent, side trims and back up lights.

Also, we installed early type 1968 rear quarter reflectors.

Now it features a new 5.0 engine (Summit Racing) and new drive train, Dakota Gages, LED taillights, Halogen headlights (Halo Lights) and Lokar shifter and CVF engine serpentine belt system

It is almost done."
