5S177 was originally sold to Galpin Ford in 1965. It went through the hands of Curt Voigt/Cobra Automotive late in his life and went over the pond to the Netherlands in 2007. The original engine was put on the shelf and a full race engine built in by Michiel Smits and his team and converted to FIA regulations in 2009 for racing. Last known owner Michiel Smits, wo raced it here at the AVD OGP 2011 with Arthur Tjon.

5S177 was for sale in
2019 for roughly 295.000 Euro, but apparently was a no-sale, since.....
...as of 2022 the price went a bit down to 265.500 Euro and is on sale by KGC-automobiles.com. Here on display at the Techno Classica March 2022. |
