One of only 11 or 12 Lawman Cobra Jet Mach 1

This Lawman Cobra Jet Mach 1 is only one of 12 (or 11) ever produced special purpose Mustangs, that Elton "Al" Eckstrand (The Lawman) used for his european and asian driving ambition training tour for military personell. Research from Kevin Marti (www.martiauto.com) had shown that in the second group only 4 consecutively numbered cars were built. Still promotion pics show 6 cars alongside the Super Boss.

We've covered the whole story already some time ago in an interview with Elton on this site

The McGorman's Mustang seems to be one of the very few that survived. It is known that Elton sold at least 3 cars of the tour programme. The brown one is known to have been wrecked later. We've heard of another survivor, but that one has not yet been confirmed, however.

This car has been stored for the most time since it was purchased from Elton. Just until the 2003 MCA Grand National Show at Augusta, where it had its first coming out.

Thanks to Darrin Hart the pictures now appear here on this site.
