The Monterey Historic Races 2005 were a blast Phil Dauphinee is a die-hard Trans Am Enthusiast and an active member of a professional scale model builders group. We from the 1:1 world tend to forget that once you start doing a professional job in a scaled down world, you have to pay extra attention to  a lot of details. So does Phil.  These guys are often dependent much more on genuine photos and close-ups of any car detail. Striving for perfection is a matter of attitude in these groups. Phil created for himself a number of T/A cars allowing him to fill his own starting grid with about 20 participants. Thanks to Phil for being a long-time follower of the Trans Am scene and making this photo report available for us.
