Mystery Mustang Racer from Mexico #9F02H129275


Eduardo C. contacted us from Mexico City about this former grabber orange mystery 1969 Mustang Sportsroof racer. 

"I found this 1969 Sportsroof, with a 351,VIN 9F02H129275, that has in my opinion all the modifications for a Trans-Am Series racer, the owner wants to sell the car, so my question is. Where I can have information for the past of the car? Could this be an original Trans-am series car?
I will meet a few past mexican racers and hope to dig out more in the meantime."


Anybody who might know something about race entries of this car in Mexico or before should contact us.
Unfortunately we could not collect further information for 21 years, but finally Jose C. contacted us with an update. He is the new owner.
More hopefully soon, after we've done our homework with your help.

 



As of May 2025, the new owner Jose C. decided to show the car in its new livery. We hope to have more details on the history and modifications. Stay tuned.
