After having started his design career as an Advertising Manager at Cain-Sloan Phil was engaged to make more out of his talents and especially into automotive designs.

Phil sent his designs to Chrysler and was advised to join the Art Center School of Design first. He did so and made his voice heard there as well.

While he was there his Dad (Hollys Granddad) took the opportunity to send a press release about his son to the newspapers.
In this picture you see Phil Clark pictured with his design of a rear facing seating arrangement, a concept that you could find later in other cars in the automobile world. Was it invented here at the Art Center School of Design?
