The Nuerburgring Oldtimer Grand Prix 2004 Event
Mustangs have played a role in its history already, when Jochen Neerpasch or Sir Gawaine Bailley drove Alan Mann notchbacks around the old "Ring" in recordbreaking numbers. In the late 60ies and early 70ies a number of private racers entered Mustangs successfully as well.

In 2004 a total number about 10 Mustangs appeared and dominated the HTWT (HTGT as it is named now or soon). In additon a number of Shelbys, Cobras, De Tomaso and a real Daytona Coupe were present. Ford had its banner as well by some more Falcons and 2 GT40s present, but missed again on promoting its new image with the Mustang. God knows, why.
Still rumours are around that Ford might get wise soon.

American muscle was as well represented by some Corvettes.
