Shelby Mustangs of Europe -currently registered  by the FMCOG

1965 Shelby

• SFM 5S089 FAKE somewhere around in Europe. Be aware, that the true one is still in the U.S. with the FORD VIN confirmed by SAAC.
• SFM 5R539 appeared in 2004 at the Le Mans Classic for the first time and was verified by Claude Dubois. Still car is not confirmed by SAAC.
  A hardtop with same Shelby number and papers however was wrecked sometime after 1974 (exact date not known),. Said to have carried the 5R539 components for one race only. Sold by Claude du Bois to Rolf Kienen and Wolfgang Dietrich, raced from 1967 to 1973 - see separate story
• SFM 5S303 is owned by Sam Smart, backed up by Uniclip Automotive ByFleet Racing Team/UK. Black colour, slightly modified for racing, participated recently in the Oldtimer Grand Prix vintage racing and Tour d'Auto (classic Tour de France)
• SFM 5S306 is owned by the Burgol Automobile, Geneve. Acc. to the recent (April Retro Course magazine) it was delivered from the original dealer in Florida to the Ecurie Filippinetti in Geneve/Switzerland. Later sold to a Genevian, whose name is withheld. Then sold by a member of that family. However this car is not yet confirmed by the SAAC. Some things on the car, which do not originate from a real Shelby, check the FORD VIN with the SAAC, if you are interested in that car.
• SFM 5S354 is owned by Erwin Derichs and raced in vintage GT class racings, modified, imported from the US in 1988. Participated in the Tour Auto 1999 (5th. place) and 2000.
• SFM 5S452 is owned by Pierre Hubain, restored by Depescara Automobiles. Perfect condition
• SFM5S553 appeared in 2004 at the Anvers Mustang Nationals. Car not yet confirmed.

1966 Shelby

• SFM 6S075 was advertised at the beginning of 1999 in a classic car mag for DM 80.000,-- (approx. 46.000 $) in restored condition with lots of documents. Currently owned by sb. in Düsseldorf, Germany
• SFM 6S342
  It was bought new from swiss circle track driver Herbert Müller back then and driven until 1981, when he unfortunately came to a sudden death in an accident at the Nürburging. Herbert Müller was a member of the Ecurie Filipinetti. His son Daniel later sold the car as a ruine out of a corner of his garage via Rob de la Rive Box dealership to a Mr. Randolph of the US army stationed at that time in Germany. He had the car completely restored and it appeared again at the Nürburgring in 1984 as if it was new. Then it was shipped to California. Maybe from then on you have already the history, of the a.m. informations give you some further hint. Mr. Randolph rejected the second offer for an already restored Shelby of Mr. Rive Box. This car belonged to a Mr. Koni Lutziger. Unfortunately the serial number of this car is not known. Anyway it was for sale in Switzerland in 1981, as documented by this report of Mr. Rive Box.
• SFM 6S359 with 4-speed and blue with white stripes was also advertised from a Switzerland guy for 68.000 SFr (approx. 40.000 $), engine restored, ready to race with street licence as well.
• SFM 6S412 current owner is Peter Zogbaum/Germany. 
• SFM 6S431 is owned by the Historic Shelby Automobile Asscociation and prepared for the VHC (probably Vehicules Historique Championat)
• SFM 6S748 is in the hand of one of our club members (Ozren Kuzmanovic/Germany). He still drives it at races. In 1998 offered for sale for about 60.000$ (including lots of race spare parts)
• SFM 6S772 is owned by Ms. Daniel M. Regal, dark green colour.
• SFM 6S1329 is owned by M. Meyer (Switzerland)
• SFM 6S1657 Owner somewhere in the neighbourhood of Düsseldorf/Germany
• SFM 6S1699 Owner ist Mr. Krag from Denmark, vintage Shelby racer

1967 Shelbys

Only 7 Shelby Mustangs were exported acc. to SAAC-files to Europe.

• One of it has returned to the USA and now belongs to SAAC-member Pat Johnson, our reporter in the U.S. (67200F8A01699)
• 67200F5A01492 is owned bei Adi Heinen

1968 Shelbys

• 1 is known to exist in Germany (GT500KR)
• 1 is in the UK and was recently for sale.
• 68.......02767 participated in the Mustang Day 1999

1969/70 Shelbys

• 9F02M480009 recently appeared at a dutch meeting. The car was in pretty good shape and green metallic.

It had a dutch licence plate.

• 9F02R481036 Current owner is Ralf Wurm
• 9F03R480861 Current owner ist Andreas Lemanczyk
