4-wheel drive Mustangs
2 four-wheel drive Mustang models (65 and 69) were built by the english specialist Ferguson and tested by several car magazines. Reports appeared in german car magazines and elsewhere. We have copies of these.
At least 7 different four-wheel drive Mustangs (3 65 and 4
69 models) were built by the english specialist Ferguson and tested by several car
magazines. Reports appeared in the german car magazines and elsewhere. We have copies of
these, but unfortunately yet only two record, of what happened with the prototypes and
possible other ordered converted cars. One of the 69ers was in 2002 discovered and
restored by an english company called KAR KRAFT Mustangs. The white Mustang appeared in
the english CAR Magazine.
A 65 model turned up at a UK dealer Donaldson in early December 2011 - on sale
for 45000 pound sterling. Apparently there were 3 cars built, one blue, one
maroon and one red. Engines were swapped according to the dealer description
between those cars during maintenance. 2 65 models were used in at least 3
swedish races. A picture appeared in a swedish book.
