Ewan McGregor starring in a BULLITT Remake?
With recent rumours and Ewan himself
stating that he will do another movie by 2009, this actor comparison came back
to my mind and I contacted Eric for permission to use his pics here. Eric agreed,
so here we go. Eric sold his replica meanwhile, but still is a diehard Bullitt
enthusiast.
We don't know when Ewan found it necessary to redo Steve McQueens LE MANS gesture, however putting them enxt to each other, he might just needed to get a bit older, which he has since... or change that smile to a more threatening look.
Again, Ewan has become much older and has seen a lot more, so his face wrinkels might have become McQueen like these days.
If you look at pics from the younger McQueen, Ewan indeed has developped certainly more in the direction of McQueen.

perception of both actors.
Although many still might never take Ewan into consideration, the pictures
quite clearly demonstrate that with a bit more effort, you can move guys like
Ewan, who likes bike riding above everything into the neighbourhood of
McQueen.
Todays technology makes it
rather easy to do this and remember that nobody accepted the new Bond and
laughed about him until he really performed his role.
So why not give Ewan a chance for the BULLITT Remake. We will hear about his
plans pretty soon.
