Dale Wood 1967 BIW Race Mustang Thanks to Dales brother we got some insight into this cars history. "Dale received a new 1967 body in a crate from Ford directly for just 550 Dollar. Most of the suspension, drivetrain, rear axle and engine from Dales former and famous hardtop #4 got mounted to this body. Actually the #4 car remainders were wrecked. He later raced the Trans Am Race in Gree valley in this 67 Mustang in red color with door number #74, however it did not finish. Dale raced it for two years, until he changed to a 1969 Boss 302.  |
